Award in Education and Teaching
The course has been designed to provide an introduction to teaching for individuals who would like to work or currently work within FE Colleges, Independent Training Providers and/or Local Authorities. It is ideal for those individuals currently working as assessors, who wish to achieve a qualification as well as those currently teaching or training within the workplace. To complete this qualification learners should expect to undertake between 35 and 72 hours of learning with a minimum of 4 days in a direct classroom environment. The qualification is assessed through the delivery of a micro-teach session and the production of a portfolio of evidence. Please note that this course is intensive and work outside of the classroom will be required.
