This qualification has been designed for people who have a specific responsibility to safely administer and monitor the effects of emergency medical gases within their scope of practice in a prehospital environment. Delegates will learn about the Health & Safety considerations when using both Oxygen and a combination of Nitrous Oxide and Oxygen as well as being able to ascertain the benefits of administration as well as the potential cautions and contraindications. There will be practical assessment made of the required safety checks on the equipment, delivery of the gases as well as the monitoring and recording effects of the administration. This is a "Hands On" course where delegates will get a real-life experience using medical gases.
