Description


This qualification is aimed at anyone who wishes to work in licensed premises where alcohol is served. On completion, delegates will hold an appropriate licensing qualification with which they will be able to apply for their personal licence. The course looks at the responsibilities of the personal licence holder as well as the role of licensing authorities. It provides knowledge of the police powers, rights of entry, specific prohibitions and the licensing objectives as well as strengths of alcohol, the responsible retail of alcohol and the protection of children from harm. Delivered in a fun and dynamic way, the course will look at the licensing application process and prepare delegates for the next steps in obtaining their personal licence.
