Cardiac Arrest can happen at any time in any place and research carried out by the Resus Council shows that a patient who has been in receipt of CPR and defibrillation within 3-5 minutes of collapsing is between 50% and 70% more likely to survive. This 2 hour community based awareness session shows delegates the importance of immediate response to a casualty including performing CPR and using an AED. A practical workshop that gives attendees the opportunity to practice techniques and operate AED equipment.
